100 Maps

Stick Veterans has only recently reached the "100 maps milestone", a feat for which I need to thank you guys.

Stick Veterans has been published less than 6 months ago, yet the beginning of the project dates more than 5 years back. It only started as a homage to the original Stick Soldiers games, which are a nostalgia-inducing part of my childhood memories, and there are possibly tons of people who share the same nostalgia.

The first release of SV contained about 5 3D maps, with 6 more 2D maps added in the first update. The second update introduced the Map Editor, and since then the players have shown their dedication by working hard, despite the simplistic and often hard-to-use nature of the editor, to the point where we can now boast 100 user-made maps.

It is only fair to thank the people who put this much effort into creating these maps, as well as every single player who has downloaded, played, supported and shared Stick Veterans. This game wouldn't have come all this way without you.

I wish I had a new version or some similar way to properly celebrate this milestone. Alas, making the new update is taking a lot longer than I expected, and I didn't want to haste it and risk the quality of the update. Stay in touch, though, as things are still progressing.

Thanks again, to all of you.
